Reverend Jordan B. Boyd, from Memphis, Tennessee, is a committed leader in ministry and community advocacy. He holds a BA from Arkansas State University and an MA in Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Before joining Rockwell A.M.E. Zion Church in 2013, he led Sills Creek A.M.E. Zion Church and served at Livingstone College. Ordained in 1995, Pastor Boyd is dedicated to holistic ministry, focusing on teaching and community service. Under his leadership, Rockwell A.M.E. Zion Church won the 2019 Balm in Gilead Healthy Churches Award. He also supports the VHB Village Heartbeat Program, which received the 2019 Healthy Cities Challenge Award. Pastor Boyd works with clergy coalitions to improve housing, education, and public health, significantly growing the church's outreach.
